Magical Kanan: Seven Charms

Chihaya and her friends head to a beach summer camp, where they are unexpectedly joined by her boyfriend, Natsuki. However, the vacation is interrupted by the influence of "Seeds" from the magical kingdom of Ever Green, which manipulate the desires and traumas of those around them. When a sudden storm forces the group to seek shelter in a derelict mansion, the Seeds launch a psychological attack on Sayaka, forcing Chihaya to fight to save her friend from a dark past.

Chihaya Hiiragi's ordinary life is turned upside down when she rescues a wounded creature who reveals himself as Natsuki, a warrior from the magical kingdom of Ever Green. To stop dark Magic Seeds from possessing humans and creating demons, Chihaya discovers she can transform into the powerful warrior Carmine by kissing Natsuki to absorb his magic. However, her first real battle against a Seed-possessed victim leads to a brutal encounter with a mysterious antagonist named Septem, leaving Carmine in grave danger.

Natsuki and Chihaya venture into a mysterious cave beneath a ruined mansion to rescue their friends from a Seed of the Netherworld Tree. They are confronted by Nami and Tsuyoshi, who have been empowered by the Dark Undulation to pursue their obsessive desires. To save everyone, Chihaya must embrace the true meaning of love as Magical Angel Carmine, ultimately breaking the dark spell through a heartfelt and intimate connection.

After being belittled by the arrogant Cerulean Blue, Chihaya struggles to increase Carmine's power, leading Natsuki to suggest a magical power-up through physical intimacy. When a Seed infects the Angel Kiss cafe and plunges the patrons into a state of mindless ecstasy, Chihaya is nearly overwhelmed. However, the strength of her love for Natsuki allows her to break free and defeat the enemy, ultimately leading her to embrace her feelings for him to become a stronger warrior.

Chihaya and Natsuki befriend Sayaka, a wealthy girl who transforms into the powerful warrior Cerulean Blue. However, Sayaka's deep-seated trauma makes her vulnerable to the influence of a Seed, corrupting her and turning her into a dangerous enemy. Transforming into Carmine, Chihaya fights to purify Sayaka's heart by absorbing her suffering, though the resulting magical overload requires a risky intervention to save Sayaka's life. Meanwhile, Hazuna investigates the mysterious scientist responsible for stealing the Seeds a decade ago.

After a devastating misunderstanding and an attack by the Stamen, Chihaya discovers the shocking truth about her origins and her father Bergamot's motivations for stealing the Seeds. Though she is nearly consumed by darkness and despair, the unwavering support of her friends and Bergamot's final sacrifice allow her to embrace the power of love. However, the resolution brings a bittersweet end as Natsuki is forced to return to Ever Green.
