While local lore suggests an ancient ritual, Hikari is pulled into a dream by a Baku, triggering memories of her own past and revealing the truth behind the crimes. By connecting the dream world to reality, Hikari discovers that the victims were targeted in their sleep at a local lodge, exposing the lodge manager as the true culprit.
