In a world threatened by a supernatural apocalypse, Azusa and her friends are revealed to be "fruits" that monsters must "ripen" through corruption to trigger the world's destruction. While Kou and the clairvoyant Osakaki-kun use a mysterious book to fight back, Azusa is abducted and subjected to depraved rituals by Himegi-sensei and other monsters to erase her bond with Kou. The episode ends with a desperate race as Kou attempts to locate the trapped Azusa before she is completely consumed.
