Nomadic swordsman Albion is hired by a king to rescue Princess Cecilia from the Tower of Etruria. After encountering the young magician Etruria, a series of magical illusions leads to Etruria posing as the princess and becoming Albion's betrothed. Following a chaotic battle against an ancient monster that destroys the royal castle, Albion sets off on a new journey accompanied by the mischievous magician and her companion.
