A distraught husband visits the Yamagawa Detective Agency to find his missing wife, Etsuko, who vanished a month prior. Through a series of harrowing flashbacks, it is revealed that Etsuko's peaceful life was shattered when a group of men targeted her, using drugs and coercion to break her will. Despite her mental resistance, Etsuko became trapped in a cycle of physical enslavement and depravity, eventually leading her to abandon her family and descend into a dark world of masochism.
