Hikimori returns to the Haibara mansion and uses spy cameras to uncover a plot by the maid, Shieri, to assassinate his grandfather. Upon confronting her, he discovers that Shieri is secretly in a relationship with Kouji. Hikimori uses this leverage to blackmail Shieri into becoming his personal servant and assisting him in his plan to drive Reina and her family out of the household.
