During a rainy drive, a mysterious woman shares a chilling tale about Hachishaku-sama, a towering entity that preys on children. The story follows a young boy who, after encountering the spirit in his grandfather's remote village, is locked away for protection, only for the entity to infiltrate his room and seduce him. Though his grandfather eventually manages to smuggle him out of the village to save his life, the boy is forever exiled from his ancestral home.
